As previously stated, there is the ability to view different forms of the model. Since multiple steps were completed to reach the end result, it’s possible to view the models that were rendered along the way. Additionally, new models were created as a byproduct of completing all the steps. This page will show all the different models and their potential applications in the real world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. Shaded Model<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
An engineer or architect could use the shaded 3D model to see how light hits around the building. When putting in reference to time of day, season, cloud cover, other factors that affect natural light, and even artificial light, there can be useful implications for this model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. Solid Model<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
This model ditches the color, aesthetic, and textures to give us the rawest form of this three dimensional model. A useful application for this model could be to reduce distraction that colors and textures provide when studying it. It’s a way to look at the three dimensionality and that only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. Wireframe Model<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
A reason why people would use a wireframe model is because they’re much faster to render than a fully complete model.
